Chain of events — a special project by makelove and Krivokoso for International Women’s Day.
To celebrate International Women’s Day, makelove teamed up with the jewelry brand Krivokoso to create “Chain of Events, a project supporting women on their career journeys. It brought together nine major Russian companies — SIBUR, Samokat, Sber, Lemana PRO, 2GIS, X5 Digital, Samolet, Kontur, and Sportmaster, whose female employees shared their personal stories.
We created a website where visitors could read these stories and design their own accessories, with each bead representing a challenge overcome: balancing work and motherhood, switching industries, breaking stereotypes, or proving that no profession is “just for men.” Each bracelet or keychain became a powerful personal symbol.
The visual style combines dark landscapes with sunrise colors, hand-drawn graphics, text, and collage techniques, reflecting the complex yet bright and individual paths of its participants.
